Household Goods Move Management

As human being we are all different, some of us live very minimalist lifestyles whilst others can acquire and keep lots of things. For each move Heart Relocation will appoint a household goods surveyor who will complete a survey  of your home and contents and provide an estimation of the size of shipment required. This can be completed in person or digitally though a virtual survey who will view the home through a video call. Once the survey is completed we will be able to determine the volume.

Heart Relocation works with a number of well established and professional moving companies and we provide them with a copy of the survey results and ask them to prepare a quotation based on that. This way Heart Relocation can secure multiple quotes for each move, whilst minimalising any disruption to the employee and ensuring a competitive quote from the companies selected.

Alternatively we also can provide clients with contracted rates based on selected volumes and home and host locations (origin/destination) which provides a more “fixed” price for your moves avoiding the summer peak pricing which can occur based on supply and demand.

Of course, we work with a number of clients who contract their household goods moving requirements separately and work with the nominated provider, as we would with any of our preferred partners to ensure they are integrated seamlessly into our service delivery programme.

Yes, shipment protection is either provided as a lump sum based on the size of the shipment or we can provide cover on an individual item basis, goods with a value of normally over $2,500 USD (depending on the company providing the protection) will need to be listed separately.

Yes, one of the core principles at Heart Relocation is alleviate the administrative burden on the relocating employee and as such we, as standard practice, we pre-complete forms as much as we possibly can where we have the relevant information only forwarding them to the employee to add any information we don’t have access to or for review.
